Beets on the rocks!

This was one of those fun things as a result of a gift of a Ninja mixer from Eddie’s mom. I love beets so this was a good way to enjoy the earthy flavor with a little zing of lemon as a fresh pre workout drink.

Ingredients

  • 3 or 4 beets
  • 1 whole lemon
  • Filtered water

Process

  1. Process the beets and lemon in the blender until it’s a pulp mix.
  2. Using a fine strainer, strain the liquid from the pulp.
  3. Serve chilled.
